The full-overlay door style leaves roughly a 1/4" clearance on the edge. If installed directly against a wall or deeper cabinet and a cabinet door opening of at least 90 degrees is desired, scribe molding should be installed between the cabinet and the wall (or deeper cabinet). If not, the door may not be able to open a full 90 degrees. For a full opening, a space of at least 1/4-1/2" is necessary, a larger space may be needed depending on the decorative hardware used on the cabinets. The cabinet depth measurement listed is the depth from the front of the face frame to the back of the cabinet, and does not include the cabinet door depth. I am an architect, so I did not use the RTA design service, but I found it really easy to purchase all the pieces I needed to put my kitchen together. The cabinets are well maid, real wood and the composite parts are not MDF, they are multi-layer great quality plywood... very nice quality actually. I have had my kitchen for a year now and no problems whatsoever. We love it!
We love our new cabinets. The are just what we wanted. The RTA store had a designer to help with the placement of the cabinets and they had wonderful employees to help us with each step of the journey.

I ordered pre assembled cabinets. The two pullout drawers did not come preassembled and they were missing pieces. With that said, RTA was very good to send me the needed parts for the pullout drawers without additional charge. The cabinets are installed and they look great. If I was going to install cabinets in the future I would consider RTA Store along with outer options.
I find this RTA group to be a great organization to work with. Customer Service Rep. Stephanie Alaxander was Excellent. She followed up with my minor issue and made sure it was resolved. A+ Company
Love the cabinets. They look great but there were some issues with the craftsmanship in the pre assembled cabinets. Nothing was visible on the outside of the cabinets. I would 100% recommend.
