When applying crown to full overlay cabinets, a crown backer will be required (block of wood that is installed to the top of the cabinet where the crown will be attached to). When installed, crown is 3-3/8"H and sticks out from the cabinet 2-1/2. There is a flat part to accommodate a rope insert (ROPE8) installation if desired.
